“It is a widely accepted fact that cannabis (…and other great hallucinogens) have been linked numerous times to allowing people everywhere; from writers, to artists, and even amongst the most advent doodlers as being a smooth gateway to better and more insightful pieces of art. So take your brush of choice and blow some minds… this is Stoner Art.”

Sasquatch Bryan Hercules Hart

A while back I ran across some of Bryan Hercules Hart’s Artwork, and I was completely blown away by his effective use painterly strokes to convey a calm but yet coiled creature. This crosshatching of colors screams Post-Impressionism as there is a blatant disregard for perceived standards in color, as earthy yellows and reds are spread through Sass’s fur. Artistic direction that is able to harness the pure powers of color in its most simplistic form, like when a sunset or sunrise’s colors seem to fold into one another with a subversion of clouds, is something that is hard to depict. Bryan, himself, is an avid supporter of the 215 Medicinal Marijuana Movement in California. He dedicates much of his time between his artwork and being a father. Here, he has depicted one of the more mysterious items from legend, Bigfoot (aforementioned). Bryan has a fantastic style and (if permitted after this post) I plan to keep tossing up his works for everyone to enjoy.

I must admit, I am already a fan of Sasquatch. The fact is, at first, I was not really a believer until after I was introduced Sasquatch… Tenacious D style. So maybe you do not believe, maybe you do not even like Sasquatch, but for me, for Bryan, for your own sake before it is too late… Open your Eyes, The Sass is real.

For Reference: Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is purportedly an ape-like cryptid that inhabits forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid. The term “Sasquatch” is an anglicized derivative of the word “Sésquac” which means “wild man” in a Salish Native American language. Bigfoot is described in reports as a large hairy ape-like creature, ranging between 6–10 feet (2–3 m) tall, weighing in excess of 500 pounds (230 kg), and covered in dark brown or dark reddish hair. Bigfoot has been referred to by a whole host of names including Momo, Yeti, Abominable Snowman, Yowie, Meh-Teh, Raksha, Kikomba, The Great Bear, Sasquatch, and the Himalayan Beast.
