“It is a widely accepted fact that cannabis (…and other great hallucinogens) have been linked numerous times to allowing people everywhere; from writers, to artists, and even amongst the most advent doodlers as being a smooth gateway to better and more insightful pieces of art. So take your brush of choice and blow some minds… this is Stoner Art.”
I was gazing across the sea of darkness that is this celestial chaos known as the internet and happened upon this immaculate picture by a lovely lady aliased as Deannajean. Now Deannajean mentioned to me that it was just 2 years ago that she had to endure an intense brain surgery, which led her to the organization Phoenix Tears. For those who do not know, Phoenix Tears (recently coupled with Patients out of Time) is an organization that is dedicated to “an educational endeavor to bring state of the art knowledge concerning the therapeutic use of cannabis to the United States and International health care community.” In short, these communities wish to push all boundaries of research to confirm the clear medicinal usages of Cannabis.
For example, the two chemicals Cannabidiol or CBD (pictured below) and Beta-Caryophyllene (pictured above) have both been proven time and time again to be medicinally helpful for people. Cannabidiol has been shown to inhibit the cell growth of cancer cells and relieve convulsions in people with multiple sclerosis on one hand; on the other, Caryophyllene is proven to be an extremely effective anti-inflammatory found in several other organically found items such as hops, rosemary, and cloves. Furthermore, Caryophyllene also has been shown to have the ability to treat pain, Atherosclerosis, and Osteoporosis in research studies. …and this is only the tip of the iceberg. The field of research of Cannabis in the past has been overbearingly restricted thus buttressing the ignorant perspective that pot makes you stupid. So we ask ourselves… when all facts (economical, social, political, medical, etc…) point toward the advantage of such a commodity, how do we not utilize it? Have we not come to a point in time in which waste has become a faux pas in all aspects?
This is another situation where the healing power of cannabis has been shown to be prevalent in studies amongst even the most random people that we may come across. Deannajean you are a fortunate soul and you should scream your story TO THE ROOFTOPS!!! … as that is what it should be deserved, nothing less. Today, I smoke WITH you.
