Ganja in my Brain

"Hippies and flower children of the 60's would always describe one sick beat of any nature as being "Groovy" or "Far out". We feel the same way. It doesn't matter if it's guitar, bass, violin, piano, ukulele, anything! This is the beats that intoxicate our brains, blow our minds, and really send us ...well... Far out man." ----> Got suggestions for music? E-mail Pistachio or E-mail Dignan

I can not get enough of this song by Ras Matthews - Ganja in my Brain. Check some of the lyrics:

Ganja is my currency, Ganja daily bread, "Give me the Marijuana let it get to my head, Ganja is my meditation, Ganja in my brain, Marijuana take away my stress and pain, Ganja is the medication, Ganja is the cure, Police fighting Marijuana for sure, Jamaica’s love spreads calling Ganja, America’s people smoke Ganja in the car, I'm not gonna stop smoking my herbs, If they get me in touch with the Earth, Make me give thanks for what life is worth, Two-Hundred Ganja trees there blowing in the breeze,"

An Interview with Bob Marley

"Half-baked is probably one if not the greatest Stoner movies of all time and we believe this category is best summed up by the great, talented, and verbose Jon Stewart. Enhancement Smoker (Jon Stewart): "Did you ever see Scent of a Woman?" Scarface: "Yup." Enhancement Smoker: "You ever seen Scent of a Woman... on weed? That's the way to see it. It's just wacked." That is what this is, high movies or shows. Not necessarily ratings or anything like that, but movies or shows... well ... high."

Here I have stumbled upon an interview with Bob Marley in New Zealand, 1979. Videos like this veraciously show me the way that a smoker should live. Bob Marley, even though he was under pressure from multiple sources including the media, politicians, and even society... always kept his cool and went with the flow. Maybe it was all of the ganja he had, but in all actuality he represented an entity, a new way of thinking. He understood that the only thing we have in life is well... our own lives. Marley believed in a world where people would work together and stop fighting over petty things. This framework of thinking is why he is truly an inspiration for us all. Not to mention he supposedly used to smoke a "pound a week".
