Don’t Want MRSA? – Try Cannabis

"Why make a category for everything? The world lives on the brink of destruction, people are as apathetic as ever, and chronological whimsical forms of the structure are the things that are keeping us down. Fuck the system, Fuck the structure, and BY GOD here at Stoner Schematics we say FUCK Categories (...sometimes)."

Recently, Dr. Robert Melamede of Cannabis Science Inc supported major evidence that cannabis could eventually be used to treat MRSA. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA is a bacterial infection that is highly resistant to some antibiotics; a type of staph infection. This treatment would probably be based around a type of topical cream, but it would be of high importance to people who suffer from MRSA. Melamede can be quoted:
"Research into use of whole cannabis extracts and multi-cannabinoid compounds has provided the scientific rationale for medical marijuana’s efficacy in treating some of the most troubling diseases mankind now faces, including infectious diseases such as the flu and HIV, autoimmune diseases such as ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), multiple sclerosis, arthritis, and diabetes, neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s, stroke and brain injury, as well as numerous forms of cancer. One common element of these diseases is that patients often suffer extended hospital stays, risking development of various Staphyloccus infections including MRSA. A topical, whole-cannabis treatment for these infections is a functional complement to our cannabis extract-based lozenge."
It almost seems crazy that we are fighting something as simple as infection in this day and age, but it is truly still an issue. These people run high risks, that without proper treatment could cause them to be very ill. As if Melamede's report was not enough one can buttress his opinions with those from Italy's Universita del Piemonte Orientale and Britain's University of London, School of Pharmacy. They found THC, CBD, CBG, CBC, and CBN (main ingredients in cannabis) to be "exceptional" in treating infection and that the chemicals "showed potent antibacterial activity".

How can anyone doubt the medical values of cannabis? For years and years even before written history people have consumed cannabis and used its oils/seeds to heal themselves. Why are we so different? Just like when it seems that infection is an old idea, the idea of medicinal cannabis being illegal quickly slides into a strikingly ironic spot. Look at the drug Marinol (Dronabinol), the pharmaceuticals response to cannabis, a synthetic form of THC. Why would they even make that if they do not support that there is medicinal benefits to cannabis use alone?

Scientific Mescaline

"Why make a category for everything? Fuck the system, Fuck the structure, and BY GOD here at Stoner Schematics we say FUCK Categories (...sometimes)."

mescaline sulfate

For those who do not know what Mescaline is, it is a chemical that is found within several cacti including Peyote, San Pedro, or the Peruvian Torch. This substance is ingrained in our history as Native Americans have been using it for over 3000 years in order to experience extreme hallucinogenic and out of body experiences which, no doubt could be intensely spiritual to someone in the B.C. age. Alduous Huxley wrote about Mescaline in his famous book The Doors of Perception in which he detailed his trip in the course of one afternoon. Mescaline is interesting, hard to come-by (cacti take several years to grow), and overall it is best experienced when taken... as Huxley undoubtedly could tell you. The following is a video of a scientist by the name of Dr. Osmund giving Mescaline to a cohort for study. Osmund was also the person who first introduced Alduous Huxley to the drug. Think you are up for some Mescaline? I am.

Through the Wormhole

"Half-baked is probably one if not the greatest Stoner movies of all time and we believe this category is best summed up by the great, talented, and verbose Jon Stewart. Enhancement Smoker (Jon Stewart): "Did you ever see Scent of a Woman?" Scarface: "Yup." Enhancement Smoker: "You ever seen Scent of a Woman... on weed? That's the way to see it. It's just wacked." That is what this is, high movies or shows. Not necessarily ratings or anything like that, but movies or shows... well ... high."
